OPEN MAKE April 21, 2012
Swap-O-Rama-Rama / JEAN THERAPY WORKSHOP

10am-1:30pm with the designer, Scatha G Allison
We're going to work on this specific tote project:

From the book, Jean Therapy

miss velvet cream is preparing a "Jean Therapy LIVE" collection using Levi Strauss and Company reconstructed jeans for this year's Maker Faire Bay Area, May 19&20, 2012 in San Mateo.
And this means 5 years later, reMaking denim and jeans in a whole new way. Almost all of the original Jean Therapy one-of-a-kind pieces from the book are owned by MVC clients. There will be a few samples on site, copies of the book Jean Therapy, and hands-on instruction in the Denim Tote Remake Project.
But even more than this, I'm interested in playing with ideas and inspirations like this.....

And I want you to come and brainstorm with me!
Many thanks to the Sacramento and San Francisco crews for making this happen!!

SEE YOU IN THE EXPLORATORIUM!!!
